for the State of Illinois, was formed and legally
constituted as such, in the year 1917 A.,D.
Our Authority is derived from the National Grand Lodge of Free
and Accepted Ancient York Masons (of African Descent)
lawfully established in the year 1847 A.D., in the United States of
America.
We are comprised of good men of various occupations who are committed to the upliftment of a fallen humanity. Freemasonry is an international, world-wide organization (Fraternity) designed to make good men, better men.
We work behind the scenes within the communities wherein our jurisdictions prevail. Our benevolent work is felt as we demonstrate our unity and love to our fellowman.
